PROF ED 112 Field Study 2 (2nd Sem AY 2021-2022)
This course is a continuation of Field Study 1 with 3-unit credit. This is school-based and allows a pre-service student to participate and assist in limited actual teaching-learning activities that relate to assessment in learning, preparation of bulletin boards, and other routines in the classroom. A portfolio that will contain sample lessons or learning plans and demonstration teaching of at least one subject content area will be required. Action research shall be encouraged to start in this course and conclude during the internship. (CMO No. 75, s. 2017)

TCP_PROFED_112a Field Study 6 (2nd Sem AY 2020-2021)
This is a 1-unit course designed to complement the professional education course, The Teaching Profession. It shall bring about real life and vicarious experiences of a prospective teacher with an emphasis on the characteristics of a teacher as a person and as a professional. Technology for Teaching and Learning 1
This 3-unit introductory course explores basic knowledge, skills and values in the use of technology for teaching and learning. It includes ICT policies and safety issues, media and technology in various content areas, learning theories and principles in the use and design of learning lessons, teaching-learning experiences and assessment tasks that utilize appropriate traditional and innovative technologies with social, ethical and legal responsibility.

Electricity and Magnetism
This is a three-unit course with 3 hours lecture every week. This is a major course on BSED-Science designed for students in the College of Education (COE) and College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). This is a study on the fundamental concepts of Electricity and Magnetism. It deals with Coulomb’s Law, Electric Field, Electric Potential, Capacitance, Current and Resistance, Circuits, Magnetic Field, Ampere’s Law, Faraday’s Law of Induction and Maxwell’s Equations. In examining the concepts mentioned and its relevant consequences, vector methods, as well as the basic of algebra will be used.

The Child and Adolescent Learners and Learning Principles
The course focuses on child and adolescent development with emphasis on current research and theory on biological, linguistic, cognitive and emotional dimensions of development. Further, this includes factors that affect the progress and development of the learners and shall include appropriate pedagogical principles applicable for each developmental level.

Assessment in Learning 1
This is a 3-unit course which aims to conform teacher education to the CHED’s prescribed New Teacher Education Curriculum and DepEd’s new K to 12 curriculum. It is likewise reflective on the Philippine Professional Standards for Teacher with the end view of contributing to the formation of an ideal professional teacher.
This is a course that focuses on the principles, development and utilization of conventional assessment tools to improve the teaching-learning process. It emphasized on the use of assessment of, as, and for, in measuring knowledge, comprehension and other thinking skills in the cognitive, psychomotor or affective domains. It allows students to go through the standard steps in test construction and development and the application in grading systems.

Ms. Enriquez's Research in Teaching Science 1
This course equips students to prepare a research proposal on an action research in the content or pedagogy of Science in any of the four areas: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Science.

GENETICS LECTURE
The
course deals with various aspects of Genetics. This lecture-discussions aim toward the understanding the principles
of heredity and variation. Topics include cytological basis of heredity, nature
of chromosomes, cell cycle, mitotic and meiotic divisions, Mendelian and
non-Mendelian genetics, central dogma, transcription and translation, gene and
mutations.

Anatomy and Physiology (J. Flores)
Anatomy and Physiology is a course that will enable students to develop an understanding of the relationships between the structures and functions of the human body. There are two unifying themes in the presentation of normal human anatomy and physiology in this course: (1) the relationships between structure and function of body parts, and (2) the mechanisms of homeostasis. In addition, interrelationships of the organ systems are noted where appropriate and useful.
The sequence of concepts proceeds from simple to complex. Each module in the course covers an organ system that begins with anatomy to ensure that students are well prepared to understand the physiology that follows. Each organ system module concludes with a brief consideration of common disorders that the student may encounter in real life or in clinical settings.

ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY- BULLECER (LECTURE)
This 3-unit course deals with the study of fundamental structures of the human body and their corresponding functions. It emphasizes the integration of the organ systems in relation to normal health and provides information on associated disorders.
