Broadcasting Principles and Practices

This is a 3-unit course that provides the students with technical know-how and skills in writing, acting, and directing for radio and television programs. It is designed to give students a better understanding and appreciation of radio and television as channels for communication. Throughout the course, the students are expected to be more analytical and critical in producing different broadcast programs.

This is a 6-unit course that tackles principles and practices in photography; focuses on layout and design for the print media applying design principles; and introduces basic concepts of radio, television, and film production by studying production elements and techniques with emphasis on communication for development.
